Outlaw Pete opened with Alter Bridge and from there it was ON! A true fan could only hope for playing the entire Born to Run album. Before the crowd, he explained to Thunder Road that this was his 3rd album and that he was basically about to be dropped from the label because the previous records were not very successful. However, we all know the magic of this record and the story on it since its release. He went out to the middle of the floor and had a mini-stage set up and ran out in the crowd while fans were able to touch and get up close and personal with the Legend. He crowd surfed back to the stage during the middle of Born to Run! It was truly an amazing site! The hits just kept on coming! During Waiting on a Sunny Day, at one point, he brought a little boy from the crowd to help him sing the song, the place erupted. Alter Bridge, one of the best live shows any music fan can appreciate, plays for a minimum of 3 hours and never takes a set break. This will definitely go down as one of the best Springsteen shows I've ever seen!
